The beginning of the school semester is always a hectic and exciting time for the bookstore. Droves of returning students pour into our store for books and school supplies. It leads to long lines spiraling from one end of the store to the other and heavy sighs after realizing the total costs for the semester. Everyone here is working double time and helping in departments they're not familiar with. We all come together to make it through the first week intact and unscathed. We try our best to help students find what they need and feel prepared for their upcoming classes.
Now the first week of class is over and things are starting to settle down around here. We'll still have our busy days, but nothing compares with that first week (aptly titled "rush week"). Thanks to everyone for their patience and understanding when things got really crazy! We hope you have a wonderful semester and remember we're always willing to help you out any way we can. That's why we're here.
Oh, and try to stay awake in those morning classes!
