The Customer Service Department Head is responsible for assisting the Head Cashier in all respects of his/her job. Knowledge on all aspects of cash register operations is essential.

Employment Opportunities!
Greetings everyone! The University Store is accepting applications for a variety of positions, so if you're looking to land that perfect campus job this may be your opportunity. Listed below are the positions along with a description and the application deadline:
University Store Positions
Account Analyst:
The Account Analyst is responsible for assisting in the financial operations of the US/TR. The Account Analyst authorizes payment of invoices applying appropriate credits and compiles a monthly financial report.
Deadline for Application: 4pm on 03/29/2011
Human Resources Coordinator:
The Human Resource Coordinator is responsible for student payroll, assisting in the general applications of US/TR student employment program and work rules, assisting in the hiring of student employees, and publishing a weekly newsletter. The HRC may be asked to fill schedule gaps for other positions, requiring a general knowledge of the University Store/Text Rental operations, and knowledge and application of sound customer service principles.

Supplemental Book Department Head:
The Supplemental Book Department Head is responsible for assisting with ordering books and course materials, and preparing books and course materials for sale. They are responsible for creating promotions, researching and suggesting new product lines, and increasing sales through his/her efforts. They are required to understand the book modules of the point of sale system in building records, checking inventory, pricing, labeling, and processing returns. They are also responsible for researching and processing special book orders.

Merchandise Buyer Department Head:
The Merchandise Buyer Department Head is responsible for assisting with ordering merchandise, stocking, displaying merchandise, maintain online store, creating promotions and increasing sales through his/her efforts.

Graphic Designer:
The Graphic Designer is responsible for developing and maintaining awareness of the University Store/Text Rental through web and graphic design projects. Writing, graphic and verbal communication skills are needed, as well as general knowledge of marketing and promotional principles. Responsibilities include promotions through different media means to students, faculty, staff, and community.
